Canon von Mojave is a gorgeous 3 year old long haired black and red German Shepherd. He has the much sought after red coloring which is popular in Germany. Canon has a tattoo in his ear which most of the German imports do also. There is a registry that keeps track of the dogs. The dad in the family was hit and killed when crossing a road; the family lost everything including Canon. He has been in a home with 3 kids and is a wonderful family dog. When we got the call to help place Canon, the sadness in the mom’s voice was so heartbreaking. We promised to find him another wonderful home. Canon is finally getting over being so sad too, he is more than ready to get out of boarding and start a new life. He also hung out with chickens in his family during the day so we're hoping he's good with little critters. He has a beautiful, silky coat and a very nice personality. Canon is a good sized boy, he weighs around 80 pounds. He's a great passenger in the car and walks well on leash with a few reminders. Canon has some doggy buddies at the boarding kennel and met a small Poodle today with little interest. Canon has some training and is a very impressive and deserving dog.
